Snow...in AZ?

Okay...yeah I know...just a little bit on the ground. It really wouldn't count in CO for snow but I'm counting it! That makes twice that we have seen snow here in 2 months! BUT as you can see...it did stick on the ground. A lot of the mountains around got a lot of snow but down here at 2000 feet we just got a couple of flakes.

Reaching New Heights and Nana coming to visit!

Nana came to visit and she and Derrick took the boys to the rock wall while I rested.
Tony trying the intermediate wall and Turner almost at the top of the beginner wall!

Tony reached the top of the beginner wall! Good job Tony!

Turner was so determined to reach the top after he saw Tony do it. And he made it!

Derrick and Levi at the Community Center

Nana hugging Tony and Levi

Turner and Levi next to Nana. Turner looks a little worn out from all that climbing!
We had so much fun with Nana here. We went to pick her up at the airport and didn't even get too lost! It was kinda funny...the plane was delayed in Denver because they had to de-ice the plane. And it was about 65 degrees in Phoenix! We did some playing on Friday, she hung up all the pictures in our house, and even played Rock Band that night. I was thoroughly impressed with my Mom singing, playing the drums, and the piano. It was a blast.
Saturday we found a dresser for the babies' room, they went rockclimbing, Derrick watched the boys so we could have some girl time and get our hair done :), and then we got to go to my Uncle Steve's house. It was great to catch up with everyone. Sunday was great as well. Turner, Levi, and I had to take her to the airport this morning and it was sad to see her go. We all enjoyed having her here. I am sure she will be back soon for some more AZ fun!

3D ultrasound

We went for a fun 3D ultrasound yesterday. Derrick and the boys were able to go with me and it was really cool. Both Tony and Turner liked seeing the heartbeats. Unfortunately, they were so active that they couldn't really get any good pictures. Baby A was laying on top of Baby B. Derrick said "They are dogpiling eachother already!" I have a feeling that these boys will want to get in the middle of things just from the fact that they are so active all the time. Baby A weighed 2lbs 2 oz and B weighed 2 lbs. They look great and healthy.
I will be getting ultrasounds weekly from now on so I am sure that we will get some good pictures sometime :) It is great seeing our new baby boys and a little unnerving to think of how life is going to change after they get here. I am sure that we will be blessed with enough help or something to get us through but it is still a little overwhelming to think about.

26 weeks

So...I thought I would keep you all updated on how big my belly is getting! I am feeling those babies move around in there like crazy! I feel like we will have a couple of pretty active boys. I am suprised at how fast I am growing, how tired making babies is, and how hungry I am! It seems like I am always telling Derrick that I am either hungry or tired or both! We will get to have a 3D ultrasound next Wednesday. The boys and Derrick will be able to all be there. I am pretty excited to see them. :P

Levi and his big wheel

Levi LOVES his big wheel. Our house is made of mostly wood floor and tile. He zooms around. I will try and get a video of it. It is pretty awesome! He loves his superman PJs. I remember that Tony used to wear them...ahh gotta love hand-me-downs!

One of the Best Days EVER

The boys have been real troopers with my pregnancy helping out with cleaning a lot. A couple of Saturdays ago it seemed like we spent the entire day just trying to get things picked up and cleaned. So we started a new thing that we try to get everything done by Friday night so we can have a lot of fun on Saturday with Derrick. We are really enjoying his weekends off. It has been awesome!
We started the day playing basketball, teaching Turner to ride his bike without training wheels, and watching Levi ride around super fast on his big wheel. After that we ate some lunch and then went rockclimbing at the community center.
Turner climbing up really high.
Tony starting his climb.

The community here where we live offers a lot of fun things to do. One thing that the boys were really wanting to try was rockclimbing. There is a rockclimbing wall at the community center and it is pretty inexpensive to climb for an hour. So we spent the day watching the boys scale the wall. Tony and Turner got the hang of it pretty quick. It was great to see them in action. Levi loved calling out which color to go for next. He was pretty impressed!

After that I made some homemade pizza dough and we made pizzas and had a picnic in our front room. It was really great. Both Tony and Turner said "This is one of the best days EVER!" I hope to hear that a lot in the future as we get to do some fun things as a family.

Levi turns 2!

We had a nice relaxing day for Levi's 2nd birthday. We spent the day together as a family and opened some presents. I had some grand ideas for making the most amazing car cake ever...and it didn't happen. So I made some cupcakes and we all got matchbox cars to go with them! Levi loved the cars and loved the cupcakes. It was a great day!

Family Projects

We sold a few furniture items before moving to Arizona and our table was one of them. We were blessed to find a bigger table that someone at church was giving away...it just needed a little TLC. We packed it and about a week or so after moving in, Derrick and the boys sanded it and refinished it. It turned out awesome and was a great time for Derrick, Tony, and Turner to have some fun with tools.

Yes it is January outside...can you believe it?? It was a balmy 60 degrees or so that day!

Christmas in Utah

We spent Christmas in Utah with Derrick's family. It was a lot of fun! The boys were spoiled. It was nice to spend some time with his family before we moved down here to Arizona. Here are some pictures.
Levi opening a present.

Grandma got everyone matching pajamas. The boys love them.

This is a picture of Tony doing his Christmas Concert for school in Aurora. He was elf #14 and had a few speaking parts. It was a cute little musical and definitely the highlight of the concert!
